About Erica

Erica brings 25 years of teaching and professional coaching to her personal training. With a B.S. in Education, and a career spanning form Division I collegiate rowing, and CrossFit coaching & elite level competition, to leadership in wellness for older adults and personal training for adolescence with ASD and dementia pateints, Erica meets each client where they are. She implements clear and manageable plans.

Her coaching experience is broad and uncommon: Erica has taught children foundational movement, trained young adults on the autism spectrum, coached collegiate and competitive athletes, introduced adults to Olympic lifting, and led centenarians through chair yoga, aquatics, and group fitness.

Erica’s athletic résumé is notable and speaks to both longevity and high-level performance. As an active youth athlete she held swim team pool records at the community pool, and played High School varsity tennis, soccer, and softball. She rowed for the University of Dayton in the nationally ranked lightweight 8+. Eventually, she transitioned from rowing into competitive CrossFit, finishing near the top 1% in the CrossFit Open multiple times between 2013 and 2017. Today she maintains her strength and conditioning at Pisgah Fitness and is an avid 4.0 tennis player, striving to reach the 4.5 level.

A mother of two, sister, partner, and the family cats’ best friend, Erica balances elite-level knowledge with real-life empathy and accessibility, making high-quality fitness coaching both attainable and sustainable. She looks forward to working with you. Use the link to view our packages.
